Harlequin Sweetlips, also known as Agogo, or Clown Sweetlips or Spotted Sweetlips, dazzle with a pattern of brown and white dots as juveniles, transitioning to white and black dots as adults. To provide ample swimming room and plenty of hiding places, a 500 gallon or larger aquarium is necessary. The fish can grow up to three feet in length, so the large tank is necessary to ensure they can live comfortably. As a carnivore, it enjoys live saltwater feeder shrimp when first introduced and, once acclimated, most marine carnivore preparations. It also enjoys small items such as small crustaceans, fireworms, serpent stars, snails, and polychaete worms if placed in a reef aquarium.
