TIP from FNM: Lighting
  • Do you know that unless the aquarium contains live plants (freshwater) or corals (marine), the aquarium light does not need to be switched on. Switch on only when require to observe the fish or feeding
  • Your room light is generally sufficient to keep the fish active
  • Leaving the aquarium light on for too long can cause excessive algae growth
